We've created our own unique Growing Minds Curriculum, tailored to reflect the individuality of each child who attends our Nursery and Pre-school. Our flexible approach allows every child to reach their full potential, progressing at their own pace and in their own time.
Our curriculum is built around five key threads, each addressing essential areas of Early Learning Goals of the foundation stage. We enrich this learning journey with a variety of engaging activities, books, songs, and rhymes, ensuring a stimulating and vibrant experience for every child.

Key Person’s Role
The key person is a designated practitioner responsible for a small group of children, ensuring that each child feels safe and secure. This role is crucial for both the child and their parents and is a fundamental part of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
The key person approach fosters relationships that are attentive, responsive, stimulating, and affectionate. This approach helps each child feel welcomed, cherished, and cared for individually, facilitating a smooth transition from home to nursery with each session. As a result, children feel more settled and happier, which boosts their confidence to explore and become more capable learners.
Your child’s key person will be selected based on their scheduled sessions and their natural affinity with the child, creating a fun, affectionate, and secure attachment. You will receive a notification introducing your child’s key person, who will also identify themselves to you. Whenever possible, they will provide daily updates and messages about your child’s activities, enjoyment, and progress.
Additionally, your key person will maintain a record of your child’s development by uploading photos and observations to your online learning journey on Tapestry. You can view, comment on, and contribute to these updates.

Monitoring Progress
Our online communication platform keeps you connected to your child's learning journey, offering regular updates and highlights of their experiences and achievements at nursery.
In addition, our friendly nursery team is always available to discuss your child’s development at any time. We also host dedicated parent evenings, providing an opportunity to explore their progress in greater depth and celebrate their milestones together.
